Drug Distribution Case Dismissed - Saved My Life
I can't express how much of a blessing James Stanley and his legal representation was for my life. I was wrongfully charged with drug distribution and was facing a serious felony. I knew I needed an aggressive but also highly rated and proven attorney that would fight to get the best possible outcome. After seeing all the great reviews, meeting in person, and even still being somewhat skeptical, I chose Mr. Stanley to represent me. Fast forward a few phone calls, emails, and a couple months later - the case is completely dismissed and sealed from my record on the first court hearing!!! Thanks to Jim and all his hard work and knowledge I can finally live my life again. I highly recommend James Stanley if you need legal services for criminal defense.

Assault charge in Clear Creek County Dismissed
Jim, thank you again for your help with my case here in Clear Creek County. Without your expert help I likely could have expected a different outcome. As you know I give my wife credit for finding you as she did the research on attorneys while I was recovering those first few days. I am so glad she found you and that you had the time and the interest in representing me. Jim scheduled an appointment for me to come in and spent about two hours with me initially to get the details of the case. I was impressed with how thorough he was in getting as much information as he did in that first encounter. The assault charge stemmed from an alteration that would have been better avoided in the first case but that did not happen. Jim asked me many questions about the nature of this unfortunate encounter with a neighbor that I did not know, and I told him as much as I could remember about the situation. He was interested as well in my own history, any previous legal problems, credentials, personal references, and other information that would inform him and others about my character. As he put it, the information would help the legal system see me as a human being and not just another case. I was impressed by his patience as he elicited the details of the case and it took some weeks for me to provide the information he requested including letters of character reference from friends, coworkers, military service records and education records. This allowed him to create a profile for me that showed I was a responsible person, not just some hot head that goes around getting into fights. He kept me informed over the course of the case on a regular basis of any additional evidence that was discovered and always kept me in the loop. During this process he was also able to discuss my case with the district attorney that would prosecute my case. Because of his ability to communicate with that DA on the nature of the situation that occurred he was able to offer a mitigation argument that put me in a much more favorable light. My impression is that he put considerable effort into forming a good rapport with the DA handling the case and it shows in the results. The case was dismissed in its entirety and I did not even have to go to court. On this very day I am writing this review I would otherwise be scheduling to appear in court. Thank you again Jim. I really can't express how grateful I am for your help.

My law practice focuses on helping individuals accused of a crime (felony or misdemeanor) or DUI in Colorado. My passion is to ensure that every step is taken and every possible measure is used to achieve the best possible case outcome for my clients. To accomplish this it is crucial that the prosecutor fully understands the total picture surrounding the facts of the case. This total picture is omitted when the police bring a case to the prosecutor. I have developed a skill in identifying, developing and effectively presenting the aspects of a case that place my client in the best possible light. Of course, each case is different and defensible to different degrees. My clients are consistently extremely satisfied with what I am able to accomplish for them. 4 Questions Answered
Q. if a codefendant has their trial testimony sealed, would it be possible for defendant to have access to it if requested?
A: If a court issues an order sealing a case in Colorado, then no member of the general public has access to the record. You could file a motion with the court to request access to the record.
Q. i live in denver colorado recently a towing co. backed up to my garage witch is attached to my house and towed it away
A: The first action you should take is call the police and explain in detail what happened, that is make a report. The police agency will decided if the action by the repo company was criminal
Q. How often do arrest warrants happen for a disorderly conduct?
A: If a law enforcement officer informs you a warrant will be issued for you on a misdemeanor charge, like Disorderly Conduct, it is possible you can ask if the case can proceed by summons. I suggest you contact a criminal defense attorney, who can contact the officer and see if their are other options.
