The Warshawsky Law Firm is a boutique law firm practicing employment law, civil rights law, and litigation on behalf of individuals, families, and businesses in the New York City metropolitan area. We represent clients in federal and state courts, before government agencies, and at arbitration proceedings. In addition, we counsel clients about their rights and duties under federal, state, and local laws, and provide real-time advice on a wide range of legal issues. Our mission is to provide our clients with sophisticated, aggressive, and cost-effective representation.
In our employment law practice, we handle the full range of workplace issues, including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, disability/leave violations, and minimum wage/overtime violations. The issues we handle in our civil rights law practice include false arrest and false imprisonment, unlawful search and seizure, excessive force, due process and equal protection, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the Second Amendment. In our litigation practice, we handle a variety of common issues, including breach of contract, unfair competition, defamation, and appeals.
The founder and principal of the firm is Steven M. Warshawsky. In his career, Mr. Warshawsky has served as an Assistant United States Attorney, as an associate at prestigious law firms, and as a law clerk to federal judges. He has litigated single-plaintiff and class-action employment cases, civil rights and constitutional law cases, and personal injury and medical malpractice cases, among others. He has successfully represented clients in dispositive motions, bench trials, jury trials, arbitrations, and appeals. Mr. Warshawsky brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and sound judgment to every case.
