Calm in the midst of our storm In early 2021, we found ourselves in an unexpected situation and in need of legal counsel and advocacy. No one ever really thinks they need a lawyer until they do. We had met Mr. Carlton Rouse through a local YMCA where we watched him coach our girls’ basketball team. We had seen his character and calm manner in action. So when we found ourselves in a position where we needed legal guidance and someone to walk us through what felt like a daunting and scary process, Carlton was our first thought. From the initial phone call to the last conversation when our case was dismissed, Carlton has not only been the consummate professional, but has also been a calm in the midst of a storm for our family. His diligence with our case and personal care as we’ve navigated the legal system provided a sense of stability, peace, and confidence. Would highly recommend! Carlton was great! He is very fair and upfront with pricing and expectations. He is very thorough and quick with responses both in and out of the courtroom. He does not back down and will put up a great fight for you if it is the right thing, even when the odds are not great. I am a father that had a ugly custody battle. With Carlton's support, I was able to win primary custody of my son to keep him in a stable home (not an easy task). Hopefully I will never need his services again, but should the situation arise, he would be my first phone call.
