Mark E. Calvin

As a personal injury attorney with 28 years of experience, my practice is dedicated to helping clients who have been injured as a result of negligence or carelessness by other individuals or companies. I have successfully handled a wide variety of cases, including car accidents, trucking accidents, train intersection accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, animal attacks, and wrongful death. Over the years, I have litigated cases in both state and federal courts and have established a reputation as a skilled and compassionate advocate for my clients.

In addition to my professional achievements, I am proud of my educational background and personal experiences that have shaped my career path. I grew up in Jacksonville, where I attended elementary and high school. Later, I went on to study at Vanderbilt University, where I earned my undergraduate degree. After graduation, I worked as a commercial loan officer with a major bank in San Diego. During this time, I gained a better understanding of my clients' legal needs, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in law.

When working with clients, I take a comprehensive approach that involves reviewing all available insurance coverage, collecting witness statements and medical records, and retaining expert witnesses to document my clients' losses. I believe in educating my clients about the legal process and providing clear, consistent communication throughout their case.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering in my local community. I am a former youth coach for soccer and football and have served on my local high school alumni committee. My wife, Jennifer, is a nurse practitioner who I met while she was a nursing student at Vanderbilt. We have two children, ages 22 and 25, and we enjoy traveling to see them as much as possible. When we are not traveling to see the kids, we are usually working around the house or in the yard with our two golden retrievers.
