I am an attorney, author, and advocate. For the past 33 years, I have dedicated my practice to the representation of injury victims and their families. My clients have ranged in age from infants to one client who was 106 years old. Throughout the State of Florida, I have represented clients and guided them through the challenges of an injury case. From intake through conclusion, I am there for my clients. My firm's motto is On Your Side - At Your Side. This is a simple and powerful motto that puts the client first. I am the author of twelve books focusing on injury matters.
I have been interviewed by local and national media including Time Magazine. Of course, the most rewarding part of my practice is making a difference for the injury victims and their victims. Again, the focus in On Your Side - At Your Side. My blogs have a wide variety of information regarding injury cases as well as safety tips. There are over 4,000 articles posted of original articles and content. As an advocate, I firmly believe in the rights of individuals and the responsibility of others to honor those rights. For instance, drivers should slow down in school zones. Day care providers should put down the mobile phones and concentrate on the supervision and safety of children. In the 4,000 articles posted and the four books written in the area of child injury, there are thousands of safety tips and reminders. If followed, many accidents, incidents, and tragedies can certainly be prevented.
As the author of 12 book that focus on personal injury and safety matters, I distribute these books on a daily basis at no charge to provide clients, prospective clients, attorneys (yes other attorneys), and others with valuable information as to laws on point and best practices when dealing with the injuries and aftermath of an accident or incident.

- Q. I was an injured passenger in an accident where the other driver was drunk. Our lawyer says we must join our case. Why?
- A: The situation as you outlined may be the outcome. From a practical standpoint, the recovery on a case is typically limited to the insurance proceeds. You should sit down with your attorney to discuss your legal rights as well as the best practical approach to proceed forward with the case. You may also want to discuss the matter with another local attorney to get a second opinion.
- Q. What type of lawyer is needed?
- A: You should contact a personal injury attorney. The case or claim would be against the city. There are special laws and restrictions that apply to claims against government entities. You should be able to get a free consultation from a local personal injury attorney on a matter of this nature.
- Q. What happens if a biker is hit by a car, but the car drives off? Is there any potential legal remedy?
- A: If the driver / owner of the vehicle can be identified, there can be a case against the driver / owner. If the driver / owner cannot be identified, there may be an Uninsured Motorist insurance claim if this coverage was purchased by the injury victim or a resident family member. There may also be a fund established in the State of Wisconsin for victims of a crime.
