C L Farrell, a Southern California native, joined the Sandoval Legacy Group in 2023 after five years as an associate attorney in San Bernardino. Specializing in general civil law, she established her Inland Empire practice, aiding small businesses, families, and individuals in estate planning, trust administration, and litigation. A meticulous attorney, C L also supports clients in enforcing civil judgments and offers contract drafting and review services, including real estate transactions.
Trained in alternate dispute resolution, C L serves as a mediator for probate, trusts, and estate disputes through the Riverside County Bar Association. She held key roles in the San Bernardino County Bar Association's Fee Arbitration Program and served as Judge Pro Tem for Family Law and Small Claims cases in the San Bernardino County Superior Court. Additionally, she mediates civil law disputes assigned by the same court.
C L's legal journey began with an English Literary Criticism & Theory degree from San Francisco State University in 1979. She earned her Juris Doctor in 1982 from Golden Gate University School of Law and subsequently became the Head of Reference at the San Bernardino County Law Library in 1985.
In 2009, C L played a pivotal role in creating the Fiduciary Management Certificate Program at the University of California, Riverside Extension, serving as an Advisory Board Member and Instructor. She also established the Osborne-Whelan Endowed Rugby Academic Scholarship at the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 2010, where she chairs the Advisory Committee.
Beyond her professional life, C L explores Ireland, Scotland, and Portugal, studies Irish Gaelic, and engages in genealogical research. Her passion for sailing and witnessing the Aurora Borealis phenomenon enrich her personal pursuits.
