As the CEO of Financial Investigations, Inc., my company conducts both civil and criminal Financial Investigations. We also provide assistance to attorneys and CPAs for both civil and criminal trials. We supply expert witness trial testimony, including the presentation of trial charts and evidence notebooks for jurors. I have over 40 years of experience as a Financial Investigator. I spent over 21 years as a Lead Investigator - U.S. Special Agent for the Criminal Division of the IRS. During these 21 years I was assigned to the Atlanta U.S. Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division, white collar crimes section as a lead investigator for 17 years. I also taught a Financial Investigations course at Georgia State University to graduate and undergraduate students for 5 years. In addition, I am the Director of Investigations for Gold Shield 1811, Inc., a Georgia company which specializes in Corporate Investigations, Executive Protection, and Physical Security Assessments. My experience also includes being a Vietnam combat veteran and subsequently being selected and trained as a Federal Air Marshal who flew undercover full time immediately after 9-11-2001. I have a B.S. degree in accounting and a law degree and am a member of the Georgia Bar. I also have a Georgia Private Detective License.
