A fluent Spanish-speaker and native of Chicago, Illinois, I attended law school in San Diego, California. Upon graduating law school, I had planned on working as a staff attorney at a non-profit organization as all of my internships were completed at non-profit organizations either in Chicago or San Diego. Unfortunately, upon graduation, jobs were not available in the areas I was seeking. So, in 2013, I opened my own law firm called “Law Offices of Alex Amar Kannan” focusing on immigration law cases.

Tom Parashos has successfully practiced in the area of general civil litigation since 1988. His cases involve matters including personal injury, job discrimination and harassment, business disputes, and landlord / tenant law.
