Cory Clements was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School before attending South Plains College for a year. After transferring to Texas Tech University, Cory graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. Throughout his time in undergraduate school, Cory worked a full-time job with Wells Fargo Bank where he was committed to leadership and working with the public.

While at UCLA, Mr. Harmeling was a sports writer and later a sports editor with the Daily Bruin. After working in sales for two years in Los Angeles, Mr. Harmeling commenced law school at the University of San Diego School of Law, receiving his juris doctor degree in 1998.
