John P. O’Neil has been a partner at Elk & Elk Co., Ltd since 2012. He focuses primarily on catastrophic loss cases and wrongful death lawsuits. Prior to working at Elk & Elk, John spent 14 years at one of Ohio's top defense law firms. John has successfully tried more than 80 jury trials in various areas of law, including medical malpractice, transportation, personal injury, premises liability, and others.

Marie has been an attorney for over twenty-three years. She has experience handling personal injury, medical malpractice, employment discrimination and mass tort matters. Marie earned her J.D. from St. John’s University Law School and her L.L.M. degree from New York University (NYU) School of Law. She has worked for the New York Appellate Division, 2nd Department and has taught CLE courses on Tort & Civil Procedure at St. John’s University School of Law.

She earned a Bachelors of Science in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.
