John is a lifelong Buckeye. He graduated with honors from The Ohio State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business and accounting. In 1983, John graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law. He has been practicing law in Cuyahoga Falls ever since. John has been active in the community as a long-time baseball coach and as a member of several community organizations. John and his family are proud to call Cuyahoga Falls home.

Chad Hoover Herrnstein was born and raised near Akron, Ohio. Growing up, his father John Herrnstein worked alongside his grandfather (Orval Hoover) at Hoover, Heydorn, & Herrnstein Co.
