Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague (1997–2002) where he also defended his rigorous thesis on the subject of Community Trade Mark and was awarded the title JUDr (2006). He further continued in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics in Prague (2005–2012) in the field of Business and International Economic Law, where he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic of Unregistered Marks of Goods and Services Used in the Course of Trade and was awarded the title PhD (2012). He worked for the Law firm Nipl, Žák, Slaví?ek, Jaroš & Co....
