Emily was born and raised in the Des Moines area. She graduated from Drake University Law School in 2018 with High Honors, where she was a Junior Member of the Drake Law Review and Treasurer of the Moot Court Board. Emily found her love for Estate Planning and Elder Law while assisting low-income seniors with legal matters at the Drake Legal Clinic.
