Morris Bart grew up in the greater New Orleans area. In 1975 he graduated from the University of New Orleans and went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1978. He served as President of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, was a member of the Blue Key National Honor Society, and received the American Jurisprudence award for academic excellence during his time in law school.
