Corey McManus was born in Monroe, North Carolina where he attend Monroe High School and graduated in 1994. Corey attended the University of North Carolina Central in Durham, North Carolina on an academic scholarship. Corey graduated from the University of Kansas - School of Law where he received the Fisher-Patterson-Sayler-Smith Trial Practice Award for trial advocacy. Corey worked as an intern in the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting juvenile offenders during his final year of law school.
