Our mission is to increase access to justice by providing high quality service.
William handles divorce, child custody, criminal defense, small business litigation, and trademarks. He attends court on an almost daily basis. He travels to courts all over Central Ohio and regularly attends the Fairfield County Municipal Court.
William represents businesses in commercial transactions, intellectual property matters, and internet and unfair competition disputes. He advises startups on entity structure, formation, governance and financing, including business and commercial document preparation. William also advises on business certification matters at the local, state and national levels, and he provides support during the application process.
William especially loves to work with clients to create a branding strategy and a strong portfolio of trademarks that adds value to their businesses. William helps businesses protect, enforce, and monetize their intellectual property assets. William practices before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board. He prevents the importation of counterfeit goods by registering trademarks with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He has recovered domain names from cybersquatters. He advises on licensing, purchasing, transfers and commercialization of IP.
William started his career as a Patent Examiner where he was an expert on three-dimensional computer graphics and graphical user interfaces. He then joined and a patent boutique to do patent clearance searches. Next, he worked at two other large law firms prosecuting trademark and sending demand letters for trademark and copyright infringements. William founded Lehner Law LLC in 2020 because traditional law firms are inefficient and he wanted a free hand to innovate. He is also Of Counsel at the Brehm Law Group.
William loves solving problems for others. In his spare time, he enjoys kayaking and hiking with his dog.

- Q. How can I get Divorce, custody, child / spousal support help?
- A: You should talk privately with a divorce lawyer. Don't be afraid. From what you said, it is most likely that it is in the best interest of the children for them to be with you. A Guardian Ad Litem can be appointed who would probably say that the kids should not be with a pot head. He would have to pay support because you do all the childcare.
- Q. How can I see the court transcripts of my parents divorce case?
- A: You can look up the case at http://search.summitcpcourt.net/schedule/p_CaseNameSearch.aspx. You could hire a lawyer if that doesn't help.
- Q. My boyfriend got arrested and this is one of his charges unlawful trans. 672.09-1 what does that mean
- A: Unlawful transaction in weapons.
