Tyler earned his Bachelors of Arts in History and Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo. He served as an Articles Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review where his work on federal court practice was published.
During law school Tyler worked in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and in the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Legal Division, Litigation and Resolutions Branch, Financial Crimes Unit, in Washington D.C.
After graduation, Tyler worked as an associate of a nationally-known securities litigation firm were he assisted in the prosecution of numerous high-profile cases involving publicly-traded corporations. Tyler was featured in this regard on Law360’s Expert Analysis section.
Prior to establishing his own practice, Tyler worked in the office of a well-known Miami business litigation firm, where he participated in all aspects of numerous matters, ranging from multi-million dollar commercial disputes, to an active creditors’ rights practice, to complex agency litigation.
