Tom graduated from the University of Richmond’s T.C. Williams School of Law after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington. His varied legal background began in his final summer at UMW, where he was an intern for Rappahannock Legal Services. While there he worked with indigent clients and attorneys on all manner of cases ranging from civil suits to Social Security appeals to defending evictions.
Prior to graduating from Richmond Law, Tom interned with the Spotsylvania County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, where he cut his teeth handling misdemeanors and worked with attorneys to build criminal cases, including felonies. In addition, Tom participated in Richmond Law’s Intellectual Property and Transactional Law Clinic during his third year of law school.
As Managing Attorney at Miller DellaFera PLC, Tom currently represents individuals who have been injured by products and pharmaceuticals. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia, California, and the District of Columbia.
