Chris is the quintessential 10-star personal injury lawyer. He is serious, sharp, smart, and strategic and always a step ahead of his opponent. Chris is also articulate and personable, which is a weapon in the courtroom. Perhaps above all else, he cares about his clients and is invested in the success of their legal matters. An amazing first time experience! Honestly I can't find the words to express how grateful I am to have both Christopher Pitera and Tony Wilkerson as my legal representation in this very unfortunate event! Especially Chris who was with me to explain everything in great detail through the whole ordeal. He answered every question and I do want to emphasize every question because this was my first and second accident where I received injuries and I had a lot of questions. Chris was both Profesional and courteous and would frequently answer my questions through text and phone call in and out of the office. His sound legal advice paid dividens allowing me make the best decision for my situation. Hopefully I never get in an accident ever again but if I do I know I'm going with Cannella & O'Neal and requesting Chris J. Pitera. I'm also going to be referring him to all of my friends and family members. Chris came highly recommended from a close family friend and now I know why.

Q. I was in a auto mobile accident the other party was st full blame but my insurance paid my hospital bill so ii turned in
A: That means your auto policy carries medical expense benefits up to a certain limit. Medical expense benefits can be stacked in Virginia for each vehicle you have on the auto policy. Generally it is best to use your health insurance in Virginia before exhausting medical expense benefits for a variety of reasons. You should contact a Virginia personal injury attorney to discuss the specifics of your question as to how to seek additional compensation on your medical bills. You may also be entitled to additional compensation for things such as lost wages, pain, suffering, inconvenience, and mental anguish.
Q. In a contributory state, what can deny a driver of suing the other party?
A: The doctrine of contributory negligence stands for the concept that one who causes or contributes to his accident is completely barred from recovering for his injuries. Whether the doctrine applies depends upon the facts of each case. You should contact a personal injury attorney who can learn more specifics about your case and provide some further insight. You may have a case, you may not. You may be entitled to medical expense benefits regardless of who is at fault if you have that type of coverage on your auto policy.
