Represented the best interest of children in family law matters involving paternity establishment, child support modification, and contempt of court issues. Gained full range of experience by arguing in District Court, Superior Court, the Washington State Court of Appeals, and the Washington State Supreme Court. Drafted appellate briefs for Division I, II, and III in the State of Washington. Argued before the Washington State Supreme Court.

Judicial Clerkship / Research Attorney for Chief Judge: Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III; 2006 - 2008; Assisted in drafting and providing legal research and analyses in over a hundred judicial opinions in various areas of law including but not limited to family law, divorce/separation, civil rights, criminal cases while gaining an insider's look at how legal cases are decided and analyzed in courts across Washington State on the trial and appellate levels.

Fellowship: U.S. Fulbright Program; 2005 - 2006; U.S. Fulbright Scholar on human trafficking in North America. Performed in-depth legal research and public policy analysis on the problem of human trafficking in North America and around the world while speaking at public events and publishing articles to increase awareness about the issue. Currently working on a book based on the research conducted before, during, and after the Fulbright Fellowship on the problem of modern-day slavery.
