About Gonzaga University School of Law
Gonzaga University School of Law has a long tradition of innovation: the school graduated its first woman in 1935; the school opened one of the nation's first legal clinics in 1974; and, in 2009, the school introduced a new curriculum that placed a strong emphasis on legal research & writing and practical experience. Students gain real world experience either by participating in an externship or the clinic. Gonzaga University School of Law students dedicated over 45,000 hours of time in public service in the 2011-2012 academic year.
