North Port Attorney Robson Powers is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson Law School, Mr. Powers worked with judges, professors, and other students in the Juvenile Justice Initiative, a pro bono initiative at Stetson that inspires law students to reach out to educate juveniles and the community about the harsh consequences of the criminal punishment system. His Pro Bono efforts were recognized by Stetson and he was awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award, this award recognizes those students who perform twice the number of Pro Bono service hours required for graduation.
Prior to law school Mr. Powers graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida where he received his B.A. in International Studies with a Certificate in Latin American Studies and a Certificate in Portuguese. While at USF Mr. Powers was inducted into the USF College of Arts and Sciences Honors Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Mr. Powers is also a graduate of North Port High School. Is currently a member of the North Port Chamber of Commerce and is an avid NPHS supporter.
Mr. Powers is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association.
