- Q. What to do if sued for dog bite but don't own a dog?
- A: You’d probably want to file some sort of motion to have the case dismissed. There is something that is leading them to think it’s you they need. I provide private dog bite defense statewide.
- Q. In Florida are landlords Liable for dog bites if they rent to someone with a dangerous breed dog(pitbulls etc.)?
- A: This should answer your question: https://flcivilcounsel.com/landlord-liability-florida-dog-bite-cases/
- Q. I had an accident in May 14 2020, now the owner is suing for damages in May 9 2024 how long does a person have to file
- A: If the accident was before March 2023 the statute of limitations is generally 4 years. If you had insurance at the time of the accident make sure to reach out to them so they can provide you with an attorney. If you did not have insurance, or did not have bodily injury coverage, you'll probably want to speak with a private accident defense attorney. Best of luck!
