Robert Newton Harris
Florida State BarI'm an experienced trial attorney who specializes in business litigation, commercial lawsuits, and employment and labor law issues. As professional Miami attorney of 20 years, I represent both plaintiffs and defendants at the state and federal level. After graduating from the University of Miami's Law School, I founded Harris Law Firm to serve the community by meeting the needs of individuals and businesses. I strive to give the best legal advice to those seeking counsel for workplace discrimination, business transactions, breach of contract violations, business fraud, fiduciary/agency disputes, business torts, and other commercial matters. I'm proud of the successful work I have had in representing plaintiffs and defendants, especially complex insurance and reinsurance litigation involving international parties with cases involving Lloyd's of London Syndicates and brokers. Those who have worked with me will say I am passionate about being a lawyer and believe in the value of forging strong relationships with clients in order to achieve a positive outcome. As a business attorney and labor and employment lawyer, I have won major judgments in favor of my clients, specifically those involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment in the workplace. I'm highly competent in the areas of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. My personal goal at Harris Law Firm is to offer clients professional, reliable legal service time and time again.

- The Florida Lawyers Network (FLN) is a statewide network of highly-skilled and well-qualified lawyers in each area of practice throughout Florida. Each Member must have at least five (5) years of experience and must be well-versed and knowledgeable in his or her designated area of practice. Only three (3) attorneys in each area of practice are selected for membership in each Chapter, and this gives FLN great diversity while maintaining essential exclusivity. Since "FLN" first began 2010, hundreds of members of the Florida Bar have joined one of numerous "FLN - Chapters" and qualified and seasoned attorneys that are ready, willing and able to build long-term connections with experienced members of the Florida Bar are invited to learn more about this outstanding network of professionals.
