#1 Choice when it comes to lawyers I had the pleasure of working with Robert D. Novicke during a challenging legal matter. From the moment he took on my case, Robert made the entire process much easier and less stressful for me. Robert's expertise was evident right away. He was able to negotiate and successfully achieve a much more favorable outcome than I had expected. His approach was both professional and compassionate—he made sure I fully understood each step of the process and was always available to answer any questions I had. What impressed me the most was how Robert consistently went above and beyond to ensure that my interests were protected. His dedication and hard work were key to resolving the situation in my favor. I am extremely grateful for Robert's help and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of legal assistance. If I ever need legal services again, Robert D. Novicke will be my first call.

Robert was great overall. Robert was a great lawyer. I had a traffic ticket and he was able to get me a lesser charge with no points on my license and I was able to pay less in court. He was even able to get my case heard first because I had work and I didn’t want to miss too much. I have no complaints and I will be reaching out to him in the future if I need to.

Q. can I sue my roommate for emotional distress?
A: An individual can file an emotional distress claim if they are able to show the elements of the claim. Namely:

1. First, the plaintiff must prove that the defendant acted intentionally or recklessly.

2. Second, the defendant’s conduct must be extreme and outrageous.

3. Third, the defendant’s actions must have been the proximate cause of

plaintiff’s emotional distress.

4. Fourth, the emotional distress suffered by plaintiff must be so severe that no

reasonable person could be expected to endure such distress.

The harder part is determining whether there are any damages that could be collectible. Does your roommate have a lot of money (or money that could reimburse you for the damages)? If not, then it is probably not worth pursuing. ... Read More
