Evan Levow is the managing partner of Levow DWI Law, P.C., a law firm exclusively devoted to DWI defense. Evan has successfully defended thousands of DWI cases throughout NJ, frequently getting charges reduced and cases even dismissed. He is an EXTREMELY aggressive DWI trial attorney known for providing relentless advocacy for his clients. Evan is often referred to as the DWI lawyer’s lawyer, lecturing to countless groups on cutting edge DWI defense strategies. The courses he teaches include: “Technical & Scientific Defenses in Alcotest Cases,” “Defending a DWI Blood Case," and “Mastering Scientific Evidence in DUI/DWI Cases.” He appears in local and national newspaper headlines, as well as tv and radio, speaking on the intricacies of DWI defense. Mr. Levow is also the founding President of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association, a national DUI bar association.
Evan is extremely knowledgeable on breath testing and has tirelessly argued before the NJ Supreme Court on the unreliability of the Alcotest breath testing machine you were tested on. He owns the machine and is certified on its operation, understanding its many pitfalls. He uses this knowledge to defend his clients. Just because you blew over the legal limit doesn’t mean the machine was accurate. Evan also represented the lead defendant in the landmark DWI case, State v. Chun, the biggest DWI case in NJ history that set the protocols for DWI defense and prosecution in New Jersey. The College of DUI Defense recognized Mr. Levow for the important role he played in shaping DWI defense and prosecution in New Jersey. Evan has also been recognized for his outstanding work on behalf of his clients as a Super Lawyer, Best Lawyers in America, Best Law Firms in America, and Top 100 Trial Attorneys.
