Biography

Robb MacDonald is an acclaimed criminal trial lawyer. He has defended clients across Ontario in serious and complex criminal cases. Robb has gone out of his way to take on complex and challenging cases and to put in the time required to achieve incredible results for his clients. In doing so, Robb has earned a reputation for being honest, hard working, and committed to winning. Robb is currently in a law chambers with some of the best criminal defence lawyers in the country including the renowned John Struthers and David Butt. After his first year in law school Robb began working at the law offices of the renowned, Edward Greenspan QC in Toronto, Ontario. Before developing his own criminal law practice, Robb articled in the Advocacy department at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP – one of Canada’s largest law firms. In private practice, Robb has argued and won numerous trials in Ontario’s Provincial and Superior courts, however, many of his clients have benefitted from his negotiation skills out of court. Robb has repeatedly managed to have his clients’ charges dropped or stayed even when those clients faced numerous and serious charges.
