Phyllis Bookspan is a highly respected and experienced attorney with over 35 years experience. She founded Bookspan Family Law, LLC (BFL) with the goal to do family law differently--to present a holistic option for clients undergoing perhaps the second worst trauma in their lives and to help them get through it with the the best result, the least emotional angst. We believe in tamping down the fires rather than fueling them, but that does not mean that we don't fight hard for you in every aspect of your case- including support, custody, distribution of assets and alimony. Prior to founding BFL, for over 20 years Phyllis was a beloved law professor at Widener University, where she taught Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Juvenile Rights She also owned a yoga and wellness center. Phyllis brings this varied multi-disciplinary background to all her cases and clients.
