Nichole Oblinger
Associate attorney Jennifer Nichole Oblinger (“Nichole”) is a 5th generation native Arizonan. Nichole was raised in Gila County, in the city of Miami, home of the Inspiration Mine. At 17, she graduated from Miami High School (Go Vandals!) and headed to ASU.
Very proud of her Arizona heritage, Nichole’s ancestors carved out a Territorial life for themselves in the 1880s. When copper was king, these tough-minded prospectors followed the mining towns and experienced boom-and-bust cycles firsthand. Silver strikes were another draw.
“My great great great grandpa, Merritt Jackson McAlister, is buried in Tombstone’s Boothill,” says Nichole. “It was a rugged existence.” (A Boothill Graveyard database lists “McAllister, M., d. 1882, Row 6, Also known as Happy Jack, died of complications stemming from a shot in the lung.”)
Nichole has also served the bench as judge pro tem and is an experienced litigator. She views herself primarily as counselor, always striving to help clients build successful, happy, independent lives. Nichole is committed to guiding her clients through what may be the most stressful experience they have ever encountered.
Early in her legal career, Nichole practiced business transactional law and litigation, as well as consumer bankruptcy. When she was Special Counsel to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Child and Family Protection Division, she focused on child welfare law, termination of parental rights, guardianship, and adoption.
Active in the community, Nichole assisted the Anthem Rotary and Daisy Mountain Veterans in Anthem and is involved in area recovery groups.
