Michael E Fiffik
When you have no estate plan, you're waiving your right to protect your family.
I assist individuals in securing the future of their families through comprehensive estate planning. My practice covers a wide range of services including the creation of wills, trusts, and both financial and medical powers of attorney. Recognizing the modern shift towards digitalization, I also focus on digital asset estate planning to safeguard online and cloud-based assets.
I provide guidance on protecting assets against the potential costs of nursing home care. Planning ahead is crucial, and I offer advice on preemptive measures. Additionally, I am involved in crisis Medicaid planning, helping to secure the assets of a spouse living at home while expediting the eligibility of a patient for long-term care Medicaid benefits.
My services extend to the administration of probate estates and trusts. For those appointed as executors or trustees, I offer support in understanding and fulfilling their responsibilities effectively, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.
I also represent beneficiaries in disputes such as will contests and claims of executor misconduct. Probate litigation is often emotionally charged, typically involving conflicts among family members during periods of mourning. In such sensitive situations, it is essential to have a reliable probate attorney who will represent your interests with both sensitivity and compassion.
