Former Associate Judge Lynn Waller KellyLynn Waller Kelly, Former Associate Judge of Tarrant County Probate Court 2, has practiced law in North Texas since 1989 and has represented clients in more than 130 jury trials. As Associate Judge from 2017 - 2023 she presided over thousands of cases on the probate court docket, from simple will prove ups to complicated contested estates and guardianships. After beginning her career as a prosecutor in Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, she handled and eventually supervised litigation matters for the North Texas division of a major insurance carrier. In addition to several years of private law firm experience, Lynn was in-house counsel with a Fort Worth-based Fortune 500 corporate legal department. A native Texan, Lynn is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and of Pepperdine University School of Law. Lynn was selected as a "Power Attorney" by the Fort Worth Business Press in 2014 and was recently selected by her peers for the eighth time to the annual “Top Attorneys” list in Fort Worth, Texas Magazine. Lynn’s practice emphasizes the following: • Representing parties in estates, guardianships, and fiduciary litigation. She also serves as a mediator for disputed probate matters.
