The injunction would have barred United's attempt to initiate arbitration in a case challenging United's business practices within the managed care industry.

The Travelers Insurance Company Campbell v. The Travelers Ins. Co. Successfully represented Travelers Life in a class action brought on behalf of over 220,000 policyholders alleging breach of contract, failure to disclose and statutory claims in connection with “modal premiums.” After extensive litigation, a favorable nationwide settlement was reached. Also representing First Colony Life and GE Capital Assurance in modal premium class actions. more
