Atty Joshua Tucker agreed to represent me knowing homeowners insurance would have & collected 8K
It was not easy to find anyone to represent me against him to get a permanent restraining order and it was going to cost me $2k to retain one to represent me for eviction, not one attorney would agree to help me get a permanent order. I finally got Joshua
Tucker to agree to represent me if I was denied the permanent order on my terms of not asking for eviction. I lost my permanent ro case for several reasons, his atty was an ex judge in the landlord tenant court. Joshua should have represented me with that case and this would be done, I had enough evidence to make that happen. Proof he lied on a declaration he filed in a voice mail he left me. The judge on the finalization was waffling about her decision until his atty started reminding her about her oath to uphold the current laws no matter how unfair they were and she caved in despite her conscience telling her to give me the order. Tucker's recently graduated assistant worked with me on the case, not him. One paper on the case was filed that I felt was done poorly. When I contacted his office to find out what amount of the 2k retainer was left he suggested I send him a copy of my homeowners insurance to check to see if they would represent me. I sent it and when he determined they would he sent them a $8000 bill and it was paid without consulting me. I had asked him to let me know when my retainer had been exhausted so I could decide how to proceed and that was not done. His bill was inflated. Why didn't he suggest my insurance to me from the beginning of our conversations? You decide for yourself.
