Jennifer Sam
Attorney Jennifer Sam majored in Criminal Justice and Philosophy at the University of Scranton before completing her Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law. Jennifer Sam worked as a prosecutor for the State Attorneys Office, with experience in both Adult and Juvenile Court. Attorney Sam is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Collier County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. She is a tough advocate for her clients.
As a former prosecutor, Attorney Sam knows the system inside and out. Her experience as a prosecutor gives her a key advantage in developing a strategic defense to criminal charges, as she can easily recognize when the prosecution has a weak case. She is persistent in achieving results-orientated plea negotiations and is dedicated to obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients.
As a highly experienced criminal defense lawyer, Jennifer Sam realizes that individuals can become entangled with Florida's criminal justice system through external pressure, financial burdens, or an isolated lapse in judgment. She shows a genuine concern for her clients and clearly explains Florida State law in plain English to them.
Maintaining the highest level of professionalism with all of her clients is a priority for Attorney Sam. She uses due diligence in providing updates to clients on the progress of their cases, so that they are able to make informed decisions.
Jennifer Sam's high level of integrity is reflected in her commitment to her professional and personal development. As a law student at the University of Miami, Jennifer was honored for her outstanding accomplishments by being selected for membership in The Society of Bar and Gavel. Membership represents the highest honor to be bestowed upon UM Law students by their peers and is based on character, service leadership, and attitude. The Society of Bar and Gavel states their members are: "well-rounded leaders, are devoted to service, and are wonderful people."
In addition to her professional work, Ms. Sam is committed to the fight against cancer and is active in the Lance Armstrong Foundation. She heads up the LiveSTRONG Army of Southwest Florida to engage the community in cancer awareness and fundraising projects.
