Attorney Jeff Heck - Mansfield's Injury Lawyer
Jeff Heck has extensive legal experience handling all types of injury, wrongful death cases & insurance claims, as well as civil litigation & labor and employment matters. He is a court-trained Mediator,as well as a private Mediator/Arbitrator.
Jeff's roots are in North Central Ohio. He grew up in the Mansfield, graduating from Malabar High School and The Ohio State University where he was a 4 year member/Squad Leader of The Ohio State University Marching Band. He graduated with Honors from The University of Florida College of Law and has nearly 40 years of extensive courtroom experience. He is admitted to practice law in both Ohio & Florida & federal district & appellate courts.
Jeff began his legal career with a large Florida law firm, returning to Mansfield in the late 1980's to help people where he grew up. He is a strong believer in "giving back" to the community, putting his time & energy into many non-profit organizations. He is the co-founder and Board Chair of 33 Forever, Inc., a mental health non-profit, and is the Treasurer of the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. He previously served 4 terms on the Lexington Local Schools Board of Education, as Past Board Chairman of the Renaissance Performing Arts Association and the Rehabilitation Services of North Central Ohio, as Past President of the University Club of Mansfield & its Educational Foundation & Trustee/Secretary of the Richland County Foundation, among others.
Jeff also gives back to the legal profession & his service has included Secretary of the Richland County Bar Association & Litigation Chair of its Certified Grievance Committee. He served 22 years on the Ohio State Bar Association's Council of Delegates and is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, as well as many OSBA committees and task forces. He is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association, Richland County Bar Association & the Florida Bar.
