- The National Trial Lawyers Association
- The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 is a professional organization composed of the top trial lawyers from each state or region who are under the age of 40. Membership into The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 is by invitation only and is extended exclusively to those trial lawyers practicing civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense law. Membership is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile measured by objective and uniformly applied standards in compliance with state bar and national Rule 4-7. Invitees must exemplify superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership as a young lawyer under the age of 40. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase objective process which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. Each of our distinguished Top 40 under 40 members strives to encompass the knowledge, skill, experience and success held by only the best lawyers in America. It is our mission to promote a unique and professional networking opportunity for young lawyers, while developing progressive ideas to pursue justice for those injured by the negligence of others, to educate the public about the importance of access to courts that are free of bias and undue influence, and to protect the right of trial by jury.

Personal Injury
- Q: How long have you (Kyle Wright) been practicing personal injury law?
- A: I’ve been practicing personal injury law since 2010, representing clients in personal injury, wrongful death, and motor vehicle accident cases throughout Ohio. Over the years, I’ve handled a wide range of cases involving car accidents, truck crashes, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, and other serious injury claims.
- Q: What are some of your (Kyle Wright) most memorable victories in personal injury cases?
- A: One of the most memorable aspects of my personal injury practice has been helping clients obtain life-changing recoveries after serious accidents. I’ve secured multi-million-dollar results in cases involving car and truck crashes, including recoveries of $5.7 million, $3.5 million, and $2.5 million for injured clients and their families. I also take pride in taking cases to trial when necessary, including obtaining a $500,000 jury verdict in a rear-end collision case after the insurance company’s highest settlement offer was only $50,000.
- Q: Do you (Kyle Wright) work on a contingency fee basis, and how is the contingency fee calculated?
- A: Yes. I handle personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis, which means my clients do not pay attorney fees unless we recover compensation on their behalf. The contingency fee is typically calculated as a percentage of the settlement or verdict obtained in the case, and we discuss the fee structure and all terms with clients at the beginning of the representation so they clearly understand how it works.
Criminal Law
- Q: How long have you (Kyle Wright) been practicing criminal law?
- A: I’ve been practicing criminal law since becoming licensed in Ohio in 2010. Over the years, I’ve represented clients in a variety of criminal matters as part of my broader litigation practice, while also serving as a Board Member for the Erie County Public Defender.
- Q: What should I do if I am arrested in Ohio?
- A: If you are arrested in Ohio, it is important to remain calm, avoid answering questions without an attorney present, and exercise your right to remain silent. Anything you say can potentially be used against you, so seeking legal representation as early as possible can help protect your rights and your future.
- Q: Can a DUI or criminal charge be dismissed in Ohio?
- A: Depending on the facts of the case, criminal charges or DUI charges may be reduced or dismissed due to issues involving evidence, constitutional violations, improper police procedures, or weaknesses in the prosecution’s case. I carefully review every detail of a case to determine the strongest possible defense strategy for my clients.
