Jason P. Howie
Jason has been practicing family law for over 20 years.
Jason grew up in the Riverside area and is a lifelong resident of Essex County. He attended law school at the University of Windsor and graduated in 1984. During his undergraduate years and law school education, he received a number of awards and scholarships.
After articling for a well-known firm, Jason was invited back as an associate in the litigation department, gaining exposure to a variety of areas of law. Jason soon developed an interest in family law and has restricted his practice to that area for over 20 years, forming his own firm in 1994.
Jason has appeared in every level of Court in Ontario, and has taught the Family Law section for the Law Society of Ontario for many years in both London and Windsor. Jason has made submissions on family law reform to the Ontario Legislature and is the past president of the Essex County Family Law Lawyers’ Association.
