While at Howard, James followed his passion for public interest law as a member of Howard Law’s Fair Housing Clinic, where he represented low-income D.C. residents seeking to abate hazardous conditions in their homes. Prior to attending Howard, James worked as a paralegal with the New York Legal Assistant Group’s Special Litigation Unit, where he assisted attorneys with class-action lawsuits seeking to vindicate the rights of low-income New Yorkers.
