1039 Questions Answered

Q. How would I pursue a suit of medical malpractice against a hospital
A: The best way is to hire a good lawyer, but generally before a lawyer will take most malpractice cases they want proof of malpractice unless it is so obvious like leaving a scapel in side the person or the person had bed sores etc.
Q. I fraudulently received $3,377.00 in unemployment benefits in the state of New Jersey. Will they criminally prosecute?
A: The state could certainly criminal prosecute you and yes you would have to pay it back. If charged get yourself a good lawyer.
Q. Husband got open container/empty and in a commercial vehicle. He received two tickets which had been paid. Is that i
A: I would suggest that you post your question in the PA section not NJ since the tickets came from PA a PA lawyer would be best to answer your question.
Q. My lease says no pets, will i be evicted for having one?
A: You certainly risk being evicted for having a pet, but whether you will is up to your landlord. I suggest you talk to him and offer him an extra $100 a month which is common charge in apartment leases for having a pet due to the extra damage they do to an apartment.
Q. Question regarding possession of drugs in the state of NJ
A: No testing requirements prior to trial. As for giving back your pill, cops make mistakes also or what some would say be nice. As for the charge you need to get yourself a good lawyer as your facing from 3 to 5 years in jail and that is just on the heroin charge add another 6 months for the paraphernalia. Worse than the jail for most people is the stigma of the criminal record for a serious offense as it will foreclose many job opportunities in the future. I suggest you set up one of the free in office consultations, most of us lawyers offer.
Q. Public defender representation
A: Generally you would need to pay the public defender again, if the judge even Grants you a public defender.
Q. The number in () next to the statue number is that the degree of the crime your being charged with ?
A: Not necessarily it could also mean the section number under which you're being charged with. If you're unsure what you're charged with, speak with a criminal lawyer we should be able to tell you during the free in office consultation must of us offer.
Q. Is rehab mandatory if you get a DUI?
A: Only if you get convicted and irdc mandates it for you as part of the treatment plan. Best bet is to get yourself a good lawyer and then you will have the best chance of eliminating this possibility.
Q. if my uninsured daughter in law who does not live with me uses my vehicle and has an accident can other driver sue me
A: Maybe especially if you don't have enough insurance, speak to your insurance agent as to what you can do and your coverage.
