Grace Cathryn Cretcher
Experienced and Trusted Employment Lawyer
Grace Cathryn Cretcher is an experienced employment and civil rights attorney with a commitment to the underdog and a passion for meaningful justice. She has an extensive background in women's and LGBT rights advocacy work and significant expertise both before state and federal agency tribunals and as a constitutional, federal and state civil rights law, and wage-and-hour class action litigator.
She has 8 years of litigation experience, both representing clients in federal and state cases in New York and New Jersey and advising attorneys and firms nationwide on federal litigation matters. She is particularly proud to have represented the plaintiffs in Krupa et al. v. Badolato et al., a case before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, which prompted New Jersey to extend its mandated insurance coverage for infertility treatment to women without male partners.
Grace is a former federal law clerk for Judge Timothy S. Black of U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Of note is her work on the Judge's landmark opinions declaring unconstitutional Ohio's refusal to grant same-sex marriages or recognize those from other states, which were ultimately sustained nationwide by the U.S. Supreme Court in Obergefell v. Hodges.

Free Consultation
A free consultation may be more limited in scope than a paid consultation. Attorneys will not provide legal advice or analysis. Our complimentary consultations offer an opportunity to discuss your legal situation in a general sense. A paid consultation provides an in-depth review of your situation. The Firm will dedicate focused time to analyze the specifics of your case, review related documents, and provide comprehensive legal advice. The Firm will explain to you exactly what your rights and claims are, including the potential merits and risks of each course of action. There will be a transparent fee associated with this consultation, which will be clearly communicated beforehand. For legal issues requiring analysis and advice, a paid consultation is recommended. Any information provided by the client during an initial consultation is protected by attorney-client privilege and the information will remain confidential regardless of whether you retain our services. -
