Activities: Mr. Thornton is presently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Christian Legal Society. He has served as president of the Travis County Bar Association, a member of the MCLE Texas State Bar Committee and one of the chairmen of Committees for the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.

Activities: Mr. Thornton served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Business, the Board of Directors for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and the Austin Graduate School of Theology, the Board of Trustees for Abilene Christian University and the Board of Visitors at Pepperdine University School of Law.
