Dawn founded The Hassell Law Group in 1999 and has practiced personal injury law in California for the past 24 years. She served as a distinguished Member of the Board of Directors of The San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association from 2002-2012.

Her results include: a $4,900,000 settlement for a client t-boned by a commercial truck, $4,677,244 court judgment for a seriously injured motorcyclist; a $4,600,000 settlement for a Bay Area pain management doctor who tripped and fell on a dangerous condition sustaining an impalement injury of the dominant hand; $4.500,000 for a client struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk.
