- Before attending law school, David did graduate research relating to mechanistic enzymology.He also performed postdoctoral research and was an independent academic scientist studying the biophysical basis for the translocation of peptides and proteins across biological membranes and model lipid bilayers. For the past four years, David has focused on patent prosecution relating to biotechnological methods, compositions, and tools, transgenic animals, and small-molecule pharmaceuticals.He has also done opinion work and counseling in the technology areas ofmedical devices and biological techniques, including gene amplification, genetic analysis, and molecular tagging, and in combinatorial chemistry.
