Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia to practice law since 2011, Mr. Doval's expertise is in business ethics, business law, immigration law and intellectual property law. His previous employment had been with Diaspora Law (www.diasporalaw.com), an immigration law firm, where he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s practice and daily operations.
Previously in his academic career, Mr. Doval was an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management of Morgan State University and former Assistant Professor of Management and Marketing at the Reginald F. Lewis College of Business of Virginia State University. He further had a recurring presence as a Visiting Scholar at Yale University’s Institution for Social and Policy Studies at the Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics Sherwin B. Nuland Summer Institute in Bioethics between 2015-2016.
Mr. Doval received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Telecommunications, Security and Network Management from Syracuse University with a focus on Internet Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization. Furthermore, he received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Philosophy with minors in both Religious Studies and English.
Mr. Doval is an accomplished scholar and has published in several peer-reviewed legal, public policy and management journals, and has presented his work at both nationally and internationally acclaimed conferences.
