Hi, I’m Christine Mathias

I am an attorney licensed in California. I am passionate about helping people in my community. As an experienced researcher, problem solver, and innovative thinker, I help businesses and individuals all over California by providing virtual legal services.

My Biography
After graduating from law school in 2009, I started my own general law practice in Vermont. I moved to California in 2015, and I now specialize in small business, nonprofits, and estate planning.

I have varied experience starting and running small businesses and nonprofits, including director of a public library in New Mexico, co-founder and executive director of Girls Rock Vermont, and co-founder and executive director of Sunshine Sound Center. Always an entrepreneur at heart, I have run a number of profitable businesses, including ventures in bookkeeping and yoga.

After moving to California and before returning to private practice, I worked as a law librarian at the San Diego County Law Library and the University of San Diego School of Law. These experiences allowed me to hone my research skills and learn the ins and outs of legal practice in California.

I am also a writer and have published hundreds of articles to help people understand the legal process. My articles have been published on Legal Zoom, eHow, and Nolo.

I now live in Joshua Tree, where I am an enthusiastic supporter of local businesses and this beautiful artistic community. I am thrilled to bring my experience and knowledge to help individuals and businesses in the Morongo Basin and Coachella Valley, while providing remote assistance to people anywhere in California.
