- The Driven Crowd
- For the 50th episode of The Driven Crowd, Scott sits down with fellow Snellings Law attorney, Christian Albuquerque, to talk all things law school.
- Q. I was hit by a truck crossing the crosswalk and the guy driving the truck did not own it can I sue both people
- A: Its possible. You have the right to sue the driver personally, although that option will likely not get you the results you deserve. Its possible that the driver had either an employment or personal relationship with the owner(s) of the vehicle which could open more opportunities to file a claim. Give me a call for a free consultation and let's see what your best option is.
- Q. Can a motion to settle be filed in a bus accident case.
- A: It depends. A "motion" means that a lawsuit has already been filed. If a lawsuit has not been filed, its likely that you are attempting to settle a case without an attorney. In a personal injury case it is critical that you have an attorney to represent you against adverse parties and insurance companies - otherwise they will take advantage of you and likely leave you in a bad spot. Give me a call for a free consultation so we can see what your options are.
- Q. What’s an appropriate settlement amount for food poisoning ?
- A: You absolutely could have a claim. We will need to look into the proof you have to ensure that we have sufficient evidence to recover damages. I would be glad to look into this for you. Give me a call at your convenience for a free consultation.
