Cara Schlosser

Cara Bass Schlosser graduated from University of South Carolina School of Law in May of 2019. Cara received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Business Management in May of 2015. Before law school, Cara worked as a Victim Witness Coordinator at the Gwinnett County Solicitor's Office serving victims of misdemeanor crimes, including victims of family violence. Cara also worked at a regional accounting firm as a University Recruiter meeting with college students around the Southeast.
While Cara was in law school, she clerked for a local law firm in Duluth, Georgia where she gained experience in real estate transactions and litigation. Cara also clerked for law firms in Augusta, Georgia, Greenville, South Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina where she gained litigation experience. She served as an Articles Editor on the University of South Carolina Law Review for two years. Cara was a research assistant to an Associate Professor of Law whose research focused on human trafficking. As a third year law student, Cara was an intern with the South Carolina Attorney General's Special Victims Unit. Cara also participated in the Criminal Practice Clinic at the University of South Carolina School of Law where she represented clients who had been accused of criminal conduct.
Since graduating from law school Cara has grown her law practice, using her experience to assist her clients on probate administration, estate planning, including complex trust and estate matters, and family law.
Outside of the office, you can find Cara spending time with her husband and son in their hometown of Athens, Georgia.
