Ashelle S.C. Edwards was admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in Trinidad and Tobago in 2019. Ashelle attended the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica where she completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 2016 and then proceeded to obtain her Legal Education Certificate (LEC) at the Hugh Wooding Law School, St. Augustine, Trinidad in 2019. During her time at the Hugh Wooding Law School, Ashelle was a part of the Human Rights Law Clinic where she engaged in several projects to advocate for the rights of marginalised groups across Trinidad and Tobago.
Prior to joining the Firm in October 2020, Ashelle was employed as the Legal and Compliance Assistant at the Colonial Life Insurance [Trinidad] Company Limited (CLICO) where she worked alongside the Corporate Secretary, Legal Advisors and the Compliance Unit.
