Excellent Lawyer Choosing Andrew Rudolphi to handle my case was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I received a reckless driving charge in Prince William County and was horrified to discover that this charge was a Misdemeanor and that the judge had the option of sentencing me to up to a year in jail! I was wracked with anxiety about this charge and reached out to several potential lawyers to help me with my case. Upon talking to Andrew, I was immediately put at ease. He acknowledged that my case was tricky but was confident that he could help get a more favorable outcome. He has several years of experience with this kind of case and had an established report with the prosecutor, which meant that he knew what type of mitigative actions I could take ahead of my court date that would likely convince her to look more favorably upon my case. In the lead up to my trial date, I followed Andrew’s instructions and completed all the recommended actions. I reached out to him a few times with questions and he was always quick to respond and offer support when I again felt nervous about the case. On the court date, Andrew arrived an hour and a half before my scheduled appearance time to speak with prosecutor and try to settle my case early. As I watched their interaction, it was immediately clear to me that Andrew really did have a great relationship with her and that she trusted his judgment. Andrew was able to secure a significantly reduced charge (Defective Equipment) that resulted in no jail time, no points on my license, and a very minor fine. This outcome was better than I had ever hoped for! I wholeheartedly recommend Andrew to anyone who is facing a similar charge. He is an immensely skillful lawyer, who has the knowledge, experience, and contacts to secure a favorable outcome in your case. Although I hope I’m never in need of his services again, he is someone I would immediately rehire if I find myself, friends or family in a similar situation.

Fairfax Virginia Reckless Charge I recently found myself in need of a lawyer for traffic court. Andrew was one of many that I talked to understand what I was up against. As I have never gotten a ticket in VA before, there were many things new to me as far as the process here. For one thing any speeding over 20mph is a reckless driving charge. Andrew was very thorough in building an action plan to help reduce the impact of my ticket. He was able to explain his approach and this really set my mind at ease. He was one of the few lawyers that wanted me to be present during the court date and to be fully engaged in the process. We arrived early at court and we were able to secure a conference room to discuss the plan that morning. He was able to execute the plan perfectly. In the end we got a reckless charge reduced to a no points infraction. I could not have asked for a better outcome or better representation. Also, I could see in his interactions with the judge, prosecutor and law enforcement that he has built good working relationships with all of them. Additionally, he took the time to get to know my background and was able to use this during negotiations.

Andrew Rudolphi is a Trial Attorney and a member of the Virginia State Bar. Prior to starting Rudolphi Law PLLC in 2019, Mr. Rudolphi was senior associate at a northern Virginia law practice since 2013. Over the duration of his career in practice, Mr. Rudolphi has conducted numerous trials and has litigated countless matters, maintaining a results-oriented approach for his clients.

Before attending The Catholic University Columbus School of Law, Mr. Rudolphi was employed as a paralegal at the D.C. office of the international law firm, McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. There he received his initial training in private practice as part of the firm’s litigation department. In that capacity, he assisted attorneys in matters in a variety of areas including export compliance, government contracts, and criminal investigations. In 2009, Mr. Rudolphi was awarded commendation from the firm for billing over 100 hours of pro bono work.

In 2010, Mr. Rudolphi matriculated to the Columbus School of Law and focused his studies in the areas of general litigation and criminal law. In 2011, Mr. Rudolphi accepted an offer to join the Columbus School of Law’s Journal of Law, Philosophy, and Culture as a staff member and became Symposium Editor for the same publication the following year. In addition to this, Mr. Rudolphi participated in the law school’s clinical program through Columbus Community Legal Services, where he successfully litigated matters before the D.C. Superior Court as a third-year law student.

As a practicioner, Mr. Rudolphi has had the privilege of teaching moot court at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy and has taught Continuing Legal Education (CLE) on DWI and criminal procedure through the Arlington County Bar Association.

Currently, Mr. Rudolphi concentrates his practice on Criminal Defense, DUI/DWI, Reckless Driving, and Expungements.
