Biography

Amy Robinson is a skilled litigator with a broad range of experience representing individuals and groups whose rights have been violated. Ms. Robinson represents employees who have faced discrimination, sexual harassment, and wage-and-hour violations; prisoners and victims of police misconduct in civil rights matters brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983; and consumers in class action lawsuits. She has also successfully defended individuals accused of misdemeanors and felonies in criminal court. Ms. Robinson has considerable trial experience and has negotiated numerous favorable settlements for her clients.

Prior to joining GSA in 2018, Ms. Robinson worked for several years at Stoll, Glickman & Bellina, a civil rights law firm in Brooklyn, where she served as lead counsel in dozens of civil rights cases. Previously, she clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Ellis in the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Robinson received her J.D. from CUNY School of Law in 2013, where she served as Managing Editor of the CUNY Law Review and participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic. As a member of the Moot Court team, Ms. Robinson received awards for Best Appellate Brief and First Place Team. She was the recipient of the BLSA M. Shanara Gilbert Criminal Justice and Human Rights Fellowship.
